PALM AND BOARD
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to all services provided by Palm & Board (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By approving an invoice or submitting a deposit, you (“Client”) agree to this Agreement in full.

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES
Palm & Board provides custom decorative accent wall design and installation services. All work is performed based on the scope outlined in your approved quote or invoice.
​
Any changes to the scope must be approved in writing and may result in updated pricing and/or scheduling.
​
2. QUOTES AND PRICING
All quotes are valid for 30 days.
​
Pricing is based on the agreed scope, materials, and labor at the time of quoting. Any changes to the scope after approval may result in revised pricing. No additional work will be performed without approval.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
3.1 Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to secure your installation date and begin your project. Work will not be scheduled or started until the deposit is received.

3.2 Final Payment
The remaining balance is due within 24 hours of project completion.
Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month on any outstanding balance.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

4.1 Before Work Begins
If you cancel before any design work, material purchasing, or preparation has begun, your deposit will be fully refunded.
​
4.2 After Work Begins
Once design work, planning, board cutting, or materials have been purchased, the deposit becomes non-refundable. The deposit will be applied toward costs incurred, including materials and labor completed.

4.3 Notice Requirement
All cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled installation. Cancellations are not considered confirmed until acknowledged by Palm & Board.

5. RESCHEDULING POLICY
You may reschedule your installation at no charge with at least 48 hours notice.
​
Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of your installation date will incur a $200 rescheduling fee.
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
If Palm & Board arrives and is unable to begin work due to site conditions, lack of access, or incomplete preparation by the Client, the project may be rescheduled and the rescheduling fee will apply.

6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure a smooth installation, the Client agrees to:

Clear the installation area of furniture, décor, and obstructions before arrival

Ensure an adult (18+) is present during installation

Ensure walls are dry, structurally sound, and free of damage, moisture, or mold

Complete any necessary wall repairs prior to installation

Finalize all design decisions before installation day

Provide all paint required for the project

Provide access to electrical outlets and a safe working environment

Secure pets away from the work area during installation
Recommended paint brands include Behr, Sherwin-Williams, or Clare.
Palm & Board is not responsible for issues related to client-provided paint, including coverage, finish quality, color variation, or material condition.

7. SITE CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS
Palm & Board is not responsible for pre-existing damage to walls, flooring, baseboards, or surrounding areas.
We are not responsible for issues resulting from hidden or undisclosed wall conditions.
Minor variations in spacing, alignment, or finish may occur due to the nature of working within existing structures and are not considered defects.

8. RIGHT TO REFUSE OR STOP WORK
Palm & Board reserves the right to refuse or stop work at any time if jobsite conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, or materially different from what was originally presented.
Any costs incurred up to that point will remain the responsibility of the Client.

9. CHANGE ORDERS
Any changes requested after scheduling or after materials have been purchased are considered change orders.
Change orders must be approved in writing and may result in additional costs and/or delays.

10. DESIGN APPROVAL
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving all design details before installation.
Once installation begins, changes may not be possible or may require additional cost.
​
11. FINAL WALKTHROUGH & TOUCH-UPS
A final walkthrough will be completed at the end of installation.
Any concerns must be noted at that time. Minor touch-ups related to installation will be addressed before project completion.

12. PHOTOS & MARKETING
Palm & Board may photograph completed projects for use in marketing, including website and social media.
No personal identifying information will be shared.
If you prefer your project not be photographed, you must notify us in writing before installation.

13. WARRANTY
Palm & Board provides a 1-year workmanship warranty from the date of installation.
This warranty covers issues directly related to installation.
This warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by moisture or environmental conditions
-
Pre-existing wall issues
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Damage caused by the Client or third parties
-
Modifications made after installation
14. DELAYS
Palm & Board is not responsible for delays caused by factors outside of our control, including material availability, weather, illness, or scheduling conflicts.
We will communicate any delays and reschedule as soon as reasonably possible.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Palm & Board’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project.
We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
16. PAYMENT DISPUTES
By submitting payment, the Client agrees not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes without first giving Palm & Board the opportunity to resolve any concerns.
17. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
Any disputes will be handled in Maricopa County, Arizona.
18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement, along with your approved quote or invoice, represents the full agreement between both parties and replaces any prior discussions.
